All the popular girls always gossping or glaring at the pretty blue haired girl, she hadn't ever done anything wrong, she was always forgiving, sweet, clever, always willing too help, everything god would want in a angel, a prince for a princess or a mother for a child. Yet people despised her in school, opening her locker and placing her books in and taking out the ones she wanted before shutting it again and heading back off to her third lesson today, she had few friends in this school, Kyo who was a fire demon and was also in this little team that was put together by a lord named Hakudoshi, Hana a girl who was pretty fond of herself she was a cat demon aka Neko, and another boy name Boris who was a demon on earth, and he was HUGE. Again all the girls loved the boys and the boys loved the girl, Hana. Nami never really bothered much with them, Kyo liked Nami and often stood next to her and talked, he was fairly popular in the school not that he reall cared, his pitch black hair went amazingly well with his unsually looking crystal blue eyes, which often his eyes turned into a fire-like way. Bumping into someone dropping her books, "oh i'm sorry!" she looked up and blushed slightly.. what was the name of him again? his red hair and bright emerald eyes staring at her, before picking her books up for him, She was the prettiest thing he'd seen for along time, blushing at the thought he laughed slightly rubbing the back of his neck while handing her the books he made her drop "oh, thats fine i should watch where i'm going anyway.." she laughed slightly, "its okay.. i was in a rush anyway, so i guess i have the same excuse, my names Shuichi Minamino" he stated smiling, making her blush slightly.. so innocent? i think not. "My Names Nami." realising she didn't state her last name.. he said nothing about it, gasping slightly she realised WHO he was.. all the girls fussed over him the most in school. Her seen talking to him would most likely cause a fuss and suspsion, dealing with that would not come out nice on her end "i- i have to go, sorry it was nice talking." "oh.." Shuichi looked slightly surprised.. but had a good guess why she was so quick to go "i'll see you around, Nami." smiling in reply to him she turned and walk quickly down the hall ways. "Hey, Nami!" turning around, speaking of the devil. Kyo ran up beside the girl towering over her short 5.4 height easily seeming he was standing at 6ft. "Hi, Kyo." she smiled at him warmly, causing him to smile back "erm, we really have to go.. Haku is ordering everyone back to the House, it must be something urgent so your coming with me, seeming i can get us there quickly Hana and Boris have already left." "oh. okay!" Sighing, Nami really didn't want to do this.. she hated going to the 'meetings' or 'doing missions' sure she was strong, quick and a brillant learner/listener. But at the end of the day SHE was human and SHOULDN'T be doing things like this, especially what she and her team were about to find out. Grabbing her hand Kyo ran around a corner and into a small alley, opening a portal Knowing Nami really hated this things, it always gave her a weird feeling Smiling at her comfortly before grabbing her hand and pulling her through with him and disappearing into nothing, unknown too them red eyes were frowning at the situation that just happened 'human my ass' he thought "i'm glad you all made it in time." Nami looked around the grand hall she was currently standing inside, the walls and floor was solid black marble with Gold inside of it, the pillars where pitch black marbel, with soild golden rings around the top and bottom of them, this place was sure grand and fit a lot more for a empire or god in fact of some kind rather than a mere lord like this, his greed and want for power was over-rated, Demon woman stalled around the place like queens, when all they are were Whores. "as you know i like my reputation known, very well at that. Therefore i'm wanting this team to enter a tournement coming up. And i want this team too win it." The blue haired girl looked up in fright, Kyo seemed to growl in pure hatred at the sly demon sitting in the chair. Grabbing Kyo's hand tighter and moving closer too him, he looked down sadly at the girl now clinging to his arm she had no right to be dragged into this, even if she had the fox spirit in her there's no way she'd be able to take on massive demons that would be in the tournement, its a live or die competion with demons and most of them would love a easy human target. "i want you too all start training, NOW. You're all not too return to the human world unless i say it starts in two weeks, i want all of you up to 10." he snapped dismissing them all, Hana turned around smirking slyly at the Blue haired human clinging to the fire demons arm who was staring hatefully at the man in the chair. "i dunno whether you've already guessed, but a mere HUMAN wouldn't stand a CHANCE against what your about too see, my dear." he taunted laughing mockingly before disappearing, Boris looked down at the girl with no emotion what so ever, Mimi who was the joyful one of the lot patted the short girls hair with a smile, she was a tiger demon, who specilized in healing. "me and Kyo will train you as well as we can, you already know the basics. We need to get you into contact with your half demon sided a bit more, Nami." "i-i don't want to do this, i won't survive." Kyo scowled grabbing her chin and making her look up into his eyes "as long as you have Riona inside you, i swear down kid' she won't let you down of all people. She respects you too much, Those demons will laugh mockingly at you because they don't know Riona is in you, once they find that out. You'll be the one laughing." she, she respected her? a blue haired human? she coudn't believe what Kyo was telling her, Nami only just realised she was no longer inside the marbeled room but outside in a forest, they're training area. Her blue eyes looked away from Kyos burning red/orange/yellow ones. They were beyond the most amazing eyes she'd ever seen before, but perhaps thats because he was demon. "Nami. Look at me, i need you too trust me and Mimi, You have to pay a lot of attention on what we're going to be teaching you have you got that?" "but Riona doesn't ever come out! how am i suppose to do anything without her!" Nami whimpered, it wasn't fair on her. Asking a mere human to go against full grown powerful demons, Pulling her into a hug, she realise how warm Kyo actually was.. most likely because he was a fire demon. "She only comes out when the times right, Nami. You should know that by now, it takes so much out of her to come out." Nodding understandingly feeling a hand on her shoulder, it was Mimi "we better start now, this isn't exactly going to be a piece of cake." Nodding Kyo sighed releasing her girl then smiled supportively. "i promise, you'll be fine." smiling through a sob she nodded. the two weeks went extremly quick, Nami had learnt how to hide correctly and stay lower than the hearing level, how to attack and where to attack correctly, her speed levels went up VERY well thanks to Riona's fox side. Also Nami got into contact with her half ice demon side, it wasn't up to full scratch but it would have to do for the first round which shouldn't be TOO hard, Nami was put in for fighting the weakest for the first 6 rounds she had to do, which was fair enough. Kyo and Mimi helped her convindance levels up so much. But facing the massive arena somehow shook everything out of her, "Kyo i-its huge." Smiling widely down at her "i know! i can't wait!" not noticing, Kyo was acting so happy and excited to help Nami's nerves, being all scared himself wouldn't help her. Not as though he was scared, only on her behalf. If anything did happen to her he wouldn't forgive himself sending a sharr glare toward Hana before she opened her mouth to say something spiteful, she mentally winced at the glare Kyo was sending her Mimi and Nami walked off somewhere "you won't be picking on her when Riona free, so i suggest you help Nami, stop being so spiteful, whore." Kyo spate turning around and following Hana's hands curled into fists and her teeth gritted in anger "that bastard." she growled her tail waving visiously as cats do when they're pissed off, Boris shrugged carelessly and walked after Kyo and the two girls, Hana following behind with her temper on high. The first few rounds went smoothly for the team, Kyo passed through each round like wind Boris was even laughing as he smashed them into the floor Hana went through with a i dont care attitude, Mimi was saying sorry everytime she hit them which Kyo was crying with laughter at, Nami went through very well, only getting hit down once and it wasn't even that bad. Smiling proudly Nami walked through but then stopping instantly as she got eye contact with a certain boy from her school, three of them infact. Cocking a eyebrow Shuichi stopped walking and stared at her as they walked passed "Nami?" he questioned slightly shocked, stopping and looking away from him nervously as the blue haired girls group walked forward more "hi, Shuichi." she muttered uncomfortably "what are you doing here? do you have any idea where you are?" "she wouldn't be fighting here, if she didn't know." a small guy stood behind Shuichi his cold red eyes staring directly at her "why are you here?" Shuichi muttered in disbelief. "too fight, why else." turning around Kyo was stood there cocking a eyebrow at him "i thought you and your lil' gang would be here aswell." he finished acting like it was nothing. Shuichi glared slightly, Hiei was growling lowly as his hand was gripped on the handle of something Chuckingly Kyo put a hand on her shoulder "we have another three rounds, if you don't mind. I'd like to be leaving, Nami c'mon." nodding her head she muttered a sorry under her breath at Shuichi. "you know him?" Kyo questioned keeping his hands behind his head shaking her answering as a no "heh, they're the 'spirit detectives' they're known pretty widely, they're far from bad. But i'm warning you, stay away from Kurama or Shuichi whatever he calls himself, alright Nami?" nodding her head showing she understood. "Shuichi, did you feel that?" Hiei asked frowning at the two walking away "her power levels were amazing, i've never felt something like that before." Hiei frowned, "that wasn't her power levels, somethings inside her. I've seen the ways she fights and it nothing like a demon would, she's half ice demon i think, but those weren't her levels." Kurama cocked a eyebrow thats the most Hiei had ever said in one blow glaring up at the fox "what?!" Hiei said coldy glaring Shrugging Kurama turned around "thats the most you've said in one blow i think." Scowling Hiei turned around and walked back toward Yusuke. Sighing as the blue haired girl trugged back off staged leaving a demon body behind her and sitting at the bench, she took quite a blow to that. This had been the 15th day the tournment had been going the 20th would be the final and this team was well on there way to getting there as soon as she sat down a horrible scream tore from her throat as pain shook through her whole body and all she could hear was a laugh. Gripping her head in pain as Kyo snapped his gaze toward her Mimi looked worried before bending down and placing a hand over the girls shoulder "Nami?" Nami didn't reply, she was in too much pain to even speak, her eyes went wide open as everything seemed to freeze the body on the 'stage' started to rise in mid-air Kyo frowned the crowd went completely wild at the body being torn apart Hana was stood rather stunned Boris was frowning "We all know who treats they're victims like that." Boris's deep voice thats very rare for Boris to speak, he seemed to chuckle as the body disappeared into nothing within seconds, the crowd loved entertainment like that. Hearing a chuckle as a outline of someone flashed just off from where the body was then vanished as though it was nothing. Kyo side glanced at Mimi who was holding Nami in her arms, her body was shaking but her eyes where shut tight with her hands over her head like she was trying to block something away from her. "its alright now, kid." Kyo, Mimi, Boris and Hana both turned to Nami who looked as though she just was put to sleep, every single one of those four knew who's voice that was Boris smirked "Welcome back, Riona."
